This is our real difference, and it changes the whole day. We speak English and French with you and your guests, and Portuguese with the venue, the caterer, the registrar and the Portuguese families. Nothing gets lost in translation, neither an instruction to the planner nor the emotion in a Portuguese speech we will know to catch at the right moment. A French or English videographer will not understand what is said around them; a Portuguese supplier will not tell your story to English-speaking guests. We do both.

In the city, the Palácio da Bolsa with its Arab Room, the riverside Palácio do Freixo, or a reception at The Yeatman and Graham's cellars in Gaia, overlooking the Porto skyline. Marrying in Portugal as a foreign couple: what to know
In Portugal, the civil ceremony is held in Portuguese before a registrar, and your documents (birth certificate, certificate of no impediment) must be translated into Portuguese and apostilled, submitted one to two months ahead. For a foreign couple, it quickly becomes a headache. We do not replace your wedding planner, but our native Portuguese saves precious time: talking to the town hall, understanding a quote, clearing up a misunderstanding with a supplier. On the day, you enjoy your wedding while we speak the country's language for you.
