Wedding Videographer in Paris
Cinematic wedding films across France, Portugal and Europe
Every wedding is unique, every couple has their story. As a wedding videographer based between Porto and Paris, my mission is to transform your most beautiful day into a film you will relive again and again. No cookie-cutter videos, no generic editing — a film that is truly yours, with your emotions, your rhythm, your music. Whether you are getting married in a French chateau, a Provençal estate, a Portuguese quinta or a Tuscan villa, we create cinematic films that transcend time and borders. Our philosophy is simple: every couple deserves a film worthy of their love story, crafted with the same care as a feature film.
A cinematic approach
Forget traditional wedding videos. At The Nice Guys, we think cinema. Every shot is composed like a movie scene: the lighting, the framing, the movement. We use high-end professional equipment — cinema cameras, stabilizers, wide-aperture lenses — to give your film a look worthy of the biggest productions. We shoot in 4K to capture every detail with striking precision, and the color grading is then worked frame by frame for a consistent, warm and timeless look. Our visual signature blends fluid stabilizer movements, carefully composed frames and naturally enhanced lighting. The result? A wedding film that will leave your loved ones speechless — a film you will show your children, and perhaps one day your grandchildren.
Capturing emotion, not just images
What separates a good video from a great film is emotion. The knowing looks during the ceremony, the father of the bride's tears of joy, the laughter during the speeches, the first dance that gives you chills — these are the moments that give a wedding film its true value. We are there to capture all of this, discreetly, never interrupting the natural flow of your day. Our approach is documentary-style: we do not stage, we reveal. We blend into the crowd, anticipate the highlights, and are in the right place at the right time. Your complicity, your bursts of laughter, the tender little gestures that no one else notices — that is the raw material of a great wedding film. And it is this authenticity that makes every film unique.
Destination Wedding Videographer
Based between Porto and Paris, we work with couples who dream of an extraordinary wedding. Destination weddings have become our specialty: we have filmed weddings in Bordeaux vineyards, Provençal estates, French Riviera villas, Douro Valley quintas and many other exceptional venues across Europe. A destination wedding is an adventure — we know it, because we live it with you. We scout locations in advance to identify the best light and the most stunning angles. We adapt to local traditions, the atmosphere of the country, and the pace of the day. Whether your guests are coming from France, Portugal, the United States or Australia, your film will tell this multicultural story with authenticity and sensitivity. We speak fluent French, English and Portuguese — communication is always seamless, whatever your project. Planning a wedding abroad can be stressful; our role is also to reassure you, guide you and work with your wedding planner so that the video aspect is perfectly integrated into the planning.
The key moments we capture
Your wedding day is filled with emotion, and every moment matters. We capture all the moments that make the magic of this day: the intimate morning preparations — nervous laughter, final dress adjustments, the best man's pep talk. The first look, that suspended moment when time stands still. The ceremony in its entirety, filmed from multiple angles to miss nothing. Couple portraits in the most beautiful settings of your venue. The cocktail hour and its spontaneous moments, heartfelt reunions with loved ones. The speeches that make everyone laugh and cry. The first dance and the opening of the ball. The evening party and its incredible energy. And sometimes even the next morning's brunch, when everyone gathers with eyes still glistening. Every moment is filmed with the same attention, because sometimes the most beautiful emotion hides in the smallest detail.
A team of passionate filmmakers
The Nice Guys is first and foremost a team. We never work alone on a wedding. Depending on your needs and the scale of your event, we will be 2, 3, or even 4 covering your wedding. Why? Because while the groom is getting ready on one side, the bride is adjusting her dress on the other. Because during the ceremony, one angle is not enough to capture all the magic. Multiple operators mean more perspectives, more captured moments, more emotions in your final film. Every team member is a seasoned professional, passionate about cinema and storytelling. We share the same artistic vision, the same quality standards, and above all the same desire to create something exceptional for every couple we work with.
From wedding to film: our creative process
It all starts with a meeting — in person in Porto, Paris or Bordeaux, or via video call if you are elsewhere. We get to know you: your story, your wishes, the style of your wedding, the moments that matter most to you. Then we plan together: venue scouting if possible, coordination with your wedding planner and vendors, detailed timeline for the day. On the big day, we arrive early and stay late. We film the preparations in their intimacy, the ceremony from every angle, the spontaneous cocktail hour moments, the energy of the evening party, and sometimes even the next day's brunch. After the wedding, the editing magic begins. We select the best moments from hours of footage, work on color grading shot by shot, and choose with you the music that will elevate your story. In 1 to 3 months depending on the season, your film is ready — a film that will make you relive every second of that unforgettable day.
Our professional equipment
The quality of a wedding film depends as much on the videographer's eye as on their equipment. We continually invest in high-end gear for a flawless cinematic result. Our cameras shoot in 4K with exceptional color depth and dynamic range, allowing us to enhance every scene even in challenging lighting conditions. Our cinema lenses create that distinctive big-screen bokeh, producing images of remarkable softness and sharpness. For aerial shots, we use certified drones that offer spectacular perspectives of your venue — ideal for chateaux, wine estates and properties with expansive grounds. Our stabilizers ensure smooth, cinematic movements even in the most dynamic situations. For sound — because a film without quality audio loses half its emotion — we use wireless microphones and dedicated recorders to capture every vow, every speech, every burst of laughter with perfect clarity.

Wedding videography FAQ
How much does a wedding videographer cost?+
Our packages start from €2,590 for a 5 to 8-minute film. The final price depends on several factors: the coverage duration, number of operators, chosen options (drone, teaser, same day edit) and the wedding location. For destination weddings, travel costs are additional. We always provide a personalized quote after an initial conversation.
How long before we receive our wedding film?+
Allow 1 to 3 months after your wedding. The timeline depends on the season (summer is our busiest period) and the complexity of the edit. We send you a teaser within the first few weeks to keep you going. For those in a hurry, our express delivery option guarantees delivery within 3 weeks for an additional fee.
Can we choose the music for our wedding film?+
Absolutely! We suggest a music selection tailored to the mood of your wedding, but you can also recommend songs that hold special meaning for you. We use licensed music to ensure your film can be freely shared on social media and video platforms without any copyright issues.
Do you film destination weddings abroad?+
Yes, it is actually our specialty! Based between Porto and Paris, we are used to traveling. We have filmed weddings in France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Morocco and many other destinations. Travel and accommodation costs are detailed in the quote. We handle all the video logistics so you can fully enjoy your wedding abroad.
What is the difference between the short film and the long film?+
The short film (5-8 minutes) is a cinematic highlight of your day: the best moments, edited to music, with a strong emotional narrative. This is the film you will share on social media and show your loved ones. The long film includes the full ceremony and/or speeches, without intensive editing — perfect for reliving those moments in their real duration, with every word and every emotion preserved.
Do we need to provide meals and accommodation for the team?+
For meals, yes: please plan a meal for each team member present on the day (a vendor meal is perfectly fine, no need for the gourmet menu). Accommodation is only necessary if the wedding takes place far from our bases (Porto, Paris, Bordeaux) or if the coverage spans multiple days. Everything is clearly outlined and itemized in the quote.
What is a Same Day Edit?+
A Same Day Edit is a 2-3 minute film edited and screened on the evening of your wedding, usually during the reception. A dedicated editor works in parallel throughout the day to create a highlight reel of the best moments. It is a powerful moment that surprises your guests and lets them relive the emotions of the day in real time — the effect is guaranteed.
How many camera operators will be at the wedding?+
A minimum of 2 operators ensures complete coverage of your day. Depending on the scale of your wedding, guest count and your expectations, we can be 3 or 4. Each additional operator brings a different angle and added richness to the final film. The optimal number is determined together during our first meeting.
Do you also offer wedding photography?+
Yes! The Nice Guys offer a complete photo and video package. Our integrated team coordinates perfectly for seamless coverage, without getting in each other's way. This is one of our biggest advantages over separate vendors: one point of contact, one team, total artistic consistency between your photos and your film.
How does the first contact work?+
We start with an informal chat — via video call, phone or over coffee if you are in Porto, Paris or Bordeaux. It is a chance to get to know each other, talk about your project, your vision and your budget. We show you our work, answer all your questions. No commitment at this stage: if the vibe is right, we move forward together. If not, no worries — we are nice guys, after all!
We also work across France
